On August 12th, 2022 our Partnership Group was very pleased to receive unanimous Council approval for the proposed Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments associated with the redevelopment of the Jamesville lands. On August 25th, 2022, City of Hamilton Clerk's Office issued a formal notice of adoption and approval and the commencement of the statutory appeal period. Unfortunately, On September 14th, an official letter of appeal was filed by CN Rail against the approved Council decision.
Our Partnership will be responding to the appeal accordingly and will be seeking out a resolution to the matter.
We continue to look forward to the completion of this much needed housing.
